Our Policies
Transparency and ethics in breeding, adoption, and animal care
Deposit & Payment
A non-refundable deposit of $300 secures your puppy or animal. The deposit applies to the full purchase price. Final payment is due before pickup or shipment. We accept bank transfers, checks, or PayPal. No refunds are issued for deposits, but if we cannot fulfill your order, the deposit is fully refunded.
Health Guarantee
All puppies are guaranteed against genetic defects (hip dysplasia, elbow dysplasia, eye conditions, etc.) for 2 years from the date of birth. If a serious genetic condition is diagnosed by a licensed veterinarian, we will either provide a replacement puppy or a full refund. This guarantee requires proper care, nutrition, and veterinary oversight on the buyer's part.
Spay & Neuter Policy
All pet-quality puppies are spayed or neutered before going home. Show-quality puppies may go home intact; breeding rights are granted only by written agreement and are not included in the base price. We require proof of spay/neuter within 24 months if you request this service be performed by your veterinarian instead.
Return Policy
If at any point in your dog's life you can no longer care for them, we will take them back with no questions asked. We provide full refund or credit toward a future puppy (minus any rehoming and medical expenses). We request that you contact us before placing a dog elsewhere.
Vaccination & Microchipping
All puppies receive age-appropriate DHPP (distemper/parvo) vaccinations at 6 and 9 weeks, as well as initial deworming. All puppies are microchipped and registered to your name before going home. You will receive vaccination records and microchip information. Rabies vaccination typically occurs at 12-16 weeks per your vet.
Transport & Shipping
Ground transport (professional pet transport) is available within the continental US for an additional fee (typically $200-$500 depending on distance). We can also arrange air transport with a certified pet nanny for an additional fee. Local pickup is encouraged and available any timeāno extra charge. We ensure all transport meets USDA standards for animal safety.
Breeder Support
We are available for consultation throughout your dog's life regarding training, behavior, nutrition, and health questions. We are not veterinarians and defer to your vet for medical decisions, but we are happy to discuss breed-specific issues and concerns. We maintain regular contact with puppy owners and love receiving updates and photos!
Goat Health & Pedigree
All goats sold come with a copy of their pedigree (if applicable) and notes on their health history. Goats are guaranteed healthy at the time of sale; any illness or injury occurring after sale is the buyer's responsibility. We provide aftercare consultation on housing, feeding, and herd management. No health guarantee is offered for goats, but we stand behind the quality of our animals.
References & Screening
We may ask for veterinary references and information about your living situation and experience with dogs or goats. This helps ensure the best match and supports our animals' wellbeing. We reserve the right to decline a sale if we believe the animal would not thrive in that environment.
Code of Ethics
We are committed to health testing, ethical breeding practices, animal welfare, and transparency. We do not engage in line-breeding unless carefully managed for health. We breed for temperament, health, and conformationānot just profit. Our mission is to produce animals that enrich families and farms for decades.
